Willow Tincture - wild-harvested tincture for fevers, pain, and inflammation (30ml)

$16.00

Containing a natural form of salicylic acid, the pain relieving compound in aspirin, willow has been used to reduce fevers and treat painful conditions for thousands of years, in many different cultures, including Asia, Africa, Europe, and by the indigenous tribes of the North America.

Willow’s key actions are anti-inflammatory and analgesic, by inhibiting prostaglandin production, which are pain inflammatory compounds that are released during times of injury or illness. Willow is also a frebrifuge, meaning that it helps to lower fevers naturally.

Our Willow Tincture is a great remedy to use to combat painful inflammatory conditions, like arthritis, menstrual cramps, and headaches. It doesn’t thin the blood like synthetic salicylates and does not irritate the stomach lining to the same degree. We wild-harvest the fresh bark in the spring months when the medicinal quality is at its highest and most potent.

Directions: take 15-30 in a glass of water, juice, or tea, as needed. Do not exceed 3 times per day or take for more than 5 days in a row.

Ingredients: 1:2 tincture, pure grain alcohol, aqua, fresh Salix app bark

Contraindications: Do not take while you are pregnant or nursing. Do not give to children. Do not take if you are allergic to salicylic acids, are on blood thinners, have abnormal clotting disorders, or ulcers. Please consult a medical professional before use if you have chronic or serious health conditions.
