Hydrosols, otherwise known as “floral waters” are produced through the distillation of fresh plant material, such as flowers, leaves, fruits, barks, etc. They are the co-distillate of essential oil production and have similar properties to their respective essential oil counterparts. However, they are much less concentrated and contain unique water-soluble compounds that are not found in the essential oils.

All of our hydrosols are lovingly produced from sustainably wild-crafted plants in beautiful PNW forests or grown (pesticide-free) in our own garden in a traditional Portugeuse copper alembic still. They are extremely versatile and can be used in many ways, as a refreshing aromatherapy mist, as a skin-balancing toner, used as non-toxic household cleaners, a fragrant aftershave, or simply as a gentle substitute for your favorite essential oil blend.

Lemon Balm:

This absolutely gorgeous citrus-scented lemon balm has been grown lovingly in my own garden. Lemon balm has such a bright and cheerful scent to it. In the plant world, it stands out as one that can help to calm stress and anxiety. It also has incredible skin soothing properties, with profound anti-inflammatory and antiviral effects.
