Overview
Our Italian pink grapefruit essential oil, cold-pressed from the rind, is the perfect combination of sweet and crisp citrus. It’s a fruity top note that brings joy to any blend. Grapefruit is a great uplifting scent; it helps to boost energy and concentration when you feel like you are flagging. It’s also a natural anti-depressant, a powerful disinfectant, and is great in skincare recipes when you need to move fluids, like in our Cellulite Banishing Treatment Oil, or to wake up sluggish and dull skin. However, it does have some phototoxic properties, so please don’t use at more than 4% concentration or apply right before going out into the sun. Grapefruit when sniffed or taken in a glass of water helps to cut cravings and has been proven useful during drug and alcohol withdrawal.

Safety Information:
Dilute to appropriate concentration (2.5-4%) in a suitable carrier oil. Phototoxicity may occur at higher concentrations. Avoid contact with mucous membranes and eyes. Do not apply before direct sunlight exposure. Patch test skin before application to test skin sensitivity. If any irritation or discomfort occurs, discontinue use. If pregnant or nursing, consult your doctor before use.
